Hey, I’m Carter.

I write for startups. That wasn’t originally the plan, though—I started my career launching online magazines about fly fishing.

But, when those inevitably failed and a few writers I admired told me they thought I was half-decent with a pen, I switched things up and learned to write copy.

Since then, I’ve done work with hundreds of wonderful founders, authors, newsletters, a San Francisco-sized pile of tech startups, and just about everything in between.
